My name is Yulia Vatkovski. I am 28. I ant to share the testimony about the glory of God in my life. In 2001 my mother and I came to Israel. As many new emigrants do we found living in new country to be quite difficult. The language was strange, and everything around me was unfamiliar. I tried to find an escape from this situation. I started to go to parties, drank a lot of alcohol and took ecstasy. I began to sink deeper and deeper into lifestyle that was even more hopeless and had no future. About one year later I started to experiment with heroin. It didn’t take long before I was strongly addicted to it. My life became a blur, a daze. I didn’t want anything else besides drugs. From the morning to the evening the only thing I could think about was drugs. My family became very concerned about me and frightened for me. I tried to stop using drugs, but wasn’t able to do so on my own. Once my mother came to me and offered to me the possibility to stop using drugs with God’s help. She recommended a Christian rehab center in Maalot. When I went there, I met God. He gave me everything. A new life, my beloved husband and restored my relationship with my family. Today, my husband and I live and serve God in our rehab center. We help others to be delivered from their alcohol and drug addictions. From the bottom of my heart I thank my Lord, Jesus Christ and want to be with Him all my life.
