On January 9th we had the first meeting of our church in Haifa, in the chapel of our monastery.
Michael and Olga praised God.
After the praise, pastor Gleb and Deacon Michael blessed brother Vladimir to serve as a leader of the children in this church.
And then the church blessed all the youngsters.
The beginning of new church also coincided with the birth of a daughter of one of the family members of this church. We blessed them all.
The new born girl was named Valeria.
A sermon and congratulations all round followed the child naming. Many people attended our church’s opening. There was not enough room for everyone, so we sat where ever we could, in the chapel, the hall and also outside the monastery building. We provided audio broadcasting for those who didn’t have room to sit inside.
After the meeting everyone had several opportunities to speak one with another in the courtyard of the monastery.
We thank God for making it possible for us to establish another church.
