On January 2nd we had a common meeting of our congregation “Living Israel”, during which we celebrated our 14th birthday.

As is usually the case, believers from our congregation came from all over the country to this common meeting.

Together we prayed for those who:
Came to faith and got baptized in 2009.

Those who got married during the past year.

And also for new born or ‘soon to be’ new born children in 2009.

Then we blessed those who were soon to go on missionary trips soon:
Michael, who shall go to USA and then on to Germany, and pastor Vladimir, who is returning to the USA to continue to developing our church and rehab center in NEW YORK.

We prayed for Yuri, who shall go to Ukraine to help in the rehab center in Stariy Konstantionov.

And for another Yuri, who shall go on a missionary trip to Russia, to serve God in Nikolsk.

Brother Michael was ordained to serve as a deacon in church in Haifa.

And 3 other brothers who were ordained to serve as deacons:
Ilya, in our church in Jerusalem,

Michael in our church in Tel Aviv

And Semion, in our church in Beer Sheva.

Congratulations were expressed to all. There was also a puppet show, which was essentially a skit depicting things that take place in our rehab center.
Some photos can be seen here, as well as a video report on this common meeting.
